Low: getting in a car accident. not my car (phew!) but the car is pretty totaled and my whole body hurts and i have bruises. and bumps. bumps and bruises. hopefully the hurting stops before the bruises stop looking hardcore. that's what i call "best case scenario." seat belts do their jobs! airbags are @$*!# violent! fine, they also do their jobs.

High: seeing the most amazingly awesome and hilarious thing ever. i was driving up 3rd east toward south temple, coming up to where the utah college of massage therapy is. if you know slc, you know what i'm talking about. if not, there is a really annoying pedestrian crossing area. it's really hard to see any pedestrians coming because of the way the parking in the street is set up. i feel like i should draw you a diagram, but you're just going to have to use your imagination.

so, this car in front of me had to stop really abruptly for a pedestrian. well, the car was kind of a piece of crap so his car made a much louder and terrifying "screeching to a halt" sound than the situation really warranted. the pedestrian right in front of the car didn't react at all, HOWEVER, this lady was like FIFTEEN FEET up the street, walking with an umbrella (because the sun is scary!) and she was so startled by the sound that she swung around to see the car that was no doubt about to plow her over and in the meantime she tripped backwards over the curb and fell up the hill (onto the grass phew) right on her face. it was such a GREAT fall. and the umbrella really added to the effect.

i was so glad to be there. right at that moment.
